Our AGM will be held in the Council Chamber on the first floor of the Students Union building - hope to see each and every member of the the IS there. The committee will introduce themselves and you will receive feedback for the forthcoming weeks!

12.10.05 - AGM and Garba Feedback!

I'm sure that everyone will agree that the AGM and garba at the Town Hall was a huge success! We had a massive turnout and the committee wish to thank everyone who had attended - without you it would not have been so successful!

We have been informed of an event that will be taking place next Monday. On 17th we will be occupying Cognito in the Union for a bhangra night - be there or be sqaure!

A couple of students have asked if the Indian Society are part of the NHSF - National Hindu Students Forum. Unfortunately Loughborough University is not a part of this (at the moment anyway) as we do not have a Hindu Society. It seems that if you want to join the site you can, as an individual - check it out from our LINKS page...

The IS have noticed that not as many people have signed up to the society as predicted according to the signed sheets from the Bazaar. Please could you join as soon as possible, otherwise news of what is going on with the society may not reach you. Thank you, your committee.
